Ms. Alphonso has over fifteen years of experience in human resources leadership roles in a variety of industries to include hospitality, non-profit, high-tech manufacturing, fintech, and consulting. Prior to delving into human resources, she worked in leadership roles in operations management for larger companies such as the Walt Disney World Resort, Sodexho, Panera Bread, and Morrison Management Specialists. She brings with her an appreciation for understanding the operational aspects of different companies and a law degree obtained at night while working full-time as a human resources manager. Laura brings a wealth of experience from both global publicly traded corporations and privately held companies with around 100 employees. While she has successfully led initiatives within large organizations, her passion lies in partnering with smaller, private-sector employers where she can make a more direct and meaningful impact. She also has hands-on experience supporting companies that are federal contractors, giving her a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and government-related workforce requirements. Laura’s focus is on driving organizational success through strategic workforce planning, impactful training programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
